i'm interested in getting trees removed
anyone have a reputable place or know someone who does this? they are three really huge trees in the front of the property which have caused us alot of grief with the roots going into and blocking the sewer system thingy (does one cut most of the tree down first and then get the stump removed?) and anyone whos done this, is the cost really excessive?

also wondering about getting a gas fireplace installed into the basement with a direct feed from the outside, instead of into the chimney
if i have to redo the basement cus of the damn flooding we've been experiencing then i figure i might as well look into some decent heat source so i can quit worrying about the pipes breaking at 3am and raining on me again

also...anyone know how much it costs to survey land to get your property lines assessed? the town here does not know where the lines are and have told us we would have to pay for a surveyor..i think these run about $350 bucks...

any help appreciated

oh and anyone know a reasonable handyman? we seriously need some doors installed here cus the screen door basically fell off this winter

sigh

We had approx. 25 trees (and most of the stumps) removed from our backyard last year and went with Loraas Tree Services. We had 5 or 6 estimates and this company was WAY cheaper that the others. They did a really good job and we were very happy with them. The guy's name is Dave Loraas and I've heard only good things about his company.

Hope this helps and that it's not too late. :)

Please let me know if I can give you any more info - I'd be happy to!
