I go to this site daily to check out what they are giving away. They are mostly little tools for your pc, but sometimes those little tools are exactly what you need and alternatives would be very costly.

I have downloaded a piece of software that allows users on a workgroup to send files in a web based format. It also allows chat and other little apps.

January 4, 2010Inpaint reconstructs the selected image area from the pixel near the area boundary. Inpaint may be used to remove undesirable objects from still images.

Delete any unwanted object from your photo, such as extra power-line, people, text… The program will automatically inpaint the selected area to erase it.

I tried this the last time it was offered and I confess I found the product truly amazing and easy to use. It might not get rid of that ex boyfriend or ex hubby out of your favourite picture but it might. I took out some power lines and poles out of a local church picture which could only have been done with a clone tool.

Anyone who does photo restoration or touchup should have this.

Retouch Pilot is a photo retouching software that was designed for removing imperfections from a photo. It allows you to remove small technical imperfections (e.g. scratches, spots from dust particles and hair), that were found in the original image or that appeared while scanning the photo.

This program can be also used to enhance background outdoor scene by removing unnecessary objects from a photo. This photo retouching software allows you to change form as well. Retouch Pilot can be used as a plug-in for Adobe Photoshop or another compatible program.

To clarify, this is a stand alone program for everyone, but has a plug in for the lucky Photo Shop users. Reviews say does things InPaint does not, or does not do well.

Inpaint 4.3 was up again today, but I guess everyone has gone to visit the Sandman. Would be a good time to try it, it removes things you do not want from your pictures, I have heard it being used to get rid of the mother-in-law or old boyfriend, but I think that might be stretching it capabilities, although I saw one photograph where an entire airplane disappeared, sort of an electronic David Copperfield.

I use the free version of LastPass myself, as an extension of Chrome, I found RoboForm too intrusive, it takes over everything, and you have to pay for the useful version.
